Taranis Training Ltd. offers a comprehensive course that combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on experience. Training begins in the classroom, where safety, maintenance, and operating techniques are taught. Courses are completed outside of the classroom, where the trainee will be instructed and assessed using the equipment.
Training consists of 80 hours of classroom work and 120 hours of in-field training. It is designed to take our students from the ground up, and will teach students to operate safely, professionally, and get hands-on experience doing the same things they will be doing in the workforce.
Our brand new facility is equipped with theoretical and practical resources, as well as seasoned instructors to produce qualified operators.

Industry Standard
All of our training courses meet industry standards in Heavy Equipment Operation. Students will gain the knowledge, skills and understanding required in the use of heavy equipment. Upon successful completion, all graduates receive an official Heavy Equipment Operators certificate.

Admission Requirements
- Mature Student (C.A.S.T. Test)
- Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
